Module 5: Physical and Multiple Exceptionalities 

Goals for this unit:

(at the end of the unit I go through the goals and place a *** beside the goals I believe I have met completely, ** beside areas I need to explore further or lack confidence in and * beside areas I don't feel I met the goal . This helps me to be more aware of meeting goals and self-reflection!

  • develop research skills to access critical information about a specific physical or health condition ***
  • share this information with other professionals ***
  • view and collect a wide array of useful information about physical or health conditions for future reference ***
  • explore a variety of teaching and intervention strategies for students with a physical exceptionality or health condition **
  • examine the role of occupational and physiotherapists as well as specialist teachers for students who are blind or have low vision **
