Think About It
After investigating the various assisted devices, I particularly was impressed with boardmaker. I loved the interactive nature of the software and the potential uses this software had in the classroom. For me, boardmaker is a tool which can be used in universal design classroom; the software incorporate ideas related to multiple intelligence and allows students to explore ideas/concepts in a very tactile way, which allows for personal learning preferences. I took a tour at https://www.boardmakeronline.com/ and I was impressed by the diversity of the software.
I liked how the software was driven by the concept of who you are to a student: teacher, spec education teacher, parent, etc. And it provided both school and home access.
I hope to work with this software in the future!
Below is an overview of the software I looked at and a basic summary of their uses.
